Our teams in the Policy and Trade Branch provide strategic policy advice and analysis on biosecurity matters. We help ensure that our world-leading biosecurity system protects New Zealand’s economic, social, cultural, and environmental well-being from pests and diseases. We regulate the border and help ensure that domestic biosecurity responses have the tools they need. We work closely with industry to preserve and grow our productive and successful primary sector.
