What you will do
This is an exciting opportunity for a policy expert to use their strong analytical skills to integrate existing policy from across the three Services (Navy, Army and Air Force) under one NZDF equipment management policy. In doing so, the Policy Analyst will use their excellent relationship management skills to facilitate agreement across the Services.
You will lead a small team in the redesign and redevelopment of non-platform equipment management policy (non-platform equipment excludes ships and aircraft). The role will initially redevelop non-platform equipment management policy and then maintain it on an ongoing basis, ensuring its structure and content is fit-for-pupose, remains relevant and user-friendly, aligns with other NZDF logistics policies and reflects NZDF information management principles.

We need an expert in leading policy development activities (including scoping, analysis, design, and drafting).
As a trusted advisor on policy development and documentation, the Policy Analyst will also contribute to a suite of interdependent initiatives and improvements being undertaken within DEMO to take NZDF equipment management to a higher maturity level.
