Technology and Channels is responsible for the Ministry’s technology strategy, systems and services. It is an exciting time for the group as we are currently implementing a new operating model so that we can deliver our responsibilities more efficiently.

About the role:
As part of our new operating model we will have four dedicated Service Portfolios. Each Service Portfolio will be responsible for a set of systems that is broadly aligned to agency business functions.
We are currently seeking Portfolio Architects for Corporate and Specialist Technology Services – focussed on HR, Finance systems and other Corporate solutions
The Portfolio Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining the architectural design for all systems within the Service Portfolio, ensuring alignment with the architecture frameworks.
Skills and experience:
You will be an experienced architect, leading architecture teams to deliver large scale, high cost, business‑critical programmes of ICT work. Your significant experience in working with technology vendors, ICT architecture as well as project management will see you advising and supporting the senior leaders of a large and complex organisation.
In addition to this you will have previous experience with the transition of new and modified systems in a production environment.
