We are their valued partner and trusted advisor and have a customer service ethos that creates, innovates and enables change while maintaining the core digital systems between our DHBs, community networks, region and government. About the roleAs a key member of the 3DHB ICT Leadership team and reporting to our Chief Clinical Innovation Officer, this role is instrumental in the ongoing digital transformation for our health system as we look to transform our health systems.We are commencing a critical phase of change across the 3DHB’s and our focus is to create the right digital experiences for our workforce when using our health systems. The Portfolio Manager – Hospital Services will work closely with the clinical business functions to establish an ICT portfolio plan, delivery and governance frameworks to enable an integrated digital experience while transforming the way we work mitigating existing risk.The role drives strategic execution and maximizes business value through the selection, optimization, and oversight of project investments which align to business goals and strategies.Being a team player and effective relationship management is an essential part of the role. The portfolio manager will work closely with members of the ICT leadership and management team who have the resources as well as key business stakeholders. DutiesCreating and maintaining a hospital services ICT portfolio plan identifying core products and services.Engage with a wide range of ICT and clinical stakeholders at all levels of management.Translate strategic goals and operational outcomes to that of ICT enablers.Leadership on the development, implementation, maintenance to improve end-to-end service delivery of critical clinical applications for our 3DHBs. Facilitate ICT priorities and resource assignments to meet clinical priorities.Promoting emerging technologies that benefit our clinical functions.Lead small team of ICT professionals.Skills and experience Relevant experience in ICT portfolio management Strong relationship management skills with demonstrable ability to engage proactively at senior levels.Experience in undertaking complex ICT projects and providing solution design services Experience in preparing decision and information papers for senior executives and boards;Relevant industry qualifications.An understanding of the health sector is advantageous but not essential About our organisationCapital and Coast DHB (CCDHB) is located centrally in Wellington and has over 6,000 full-time equivalent staff, making us one of the major employers in the Wellington region.
