  • About The Role As the Pricing lead within the Pricing & Product Analytics CoE, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and manage the pricing desk and support team
  • Drive greater insights on pricing and increase pricing sophistication and speed through greater use of data
  • Improve pricing processes (including discretions and escalations) and tools to progress our goal of delivering ‘right price, first time’ pricing decisions
  • Increase the consistency of pricing tools and practices across all banking products to deliver consistent and efficient pricing decisions across products, channels and segments
  • Lead research papers and initiatives for pricing (including improving pricing for capital, pricing differentiation and rate positioning strategy)
  • Lead the design and business side delivery (be the business SME) for a pan product pricing engine tool
  • Prepare pricing proposal papers and dashboards for pricing committee meetings
  • Ensure our reasonable pricing principals are embedded across the pricing value chain
  • Role Location: Auckland Role Type: Permanent About You To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Strong and demonstrated analytical individual with proven experience of analytical, financial, modelling skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidence with communicating and influencing Senior Execs
  • Experience in developing strategic proposals (incl. bus cases) & executing strategic initiatives
  • High level of problem solving aptitude and demonstrated organisational skills. This role will be expected to be flexible and adaptable in managing changing work requirements and environments.
  • Experience managing and coaching a team of analysts or contact centre team or similar
  • Enjoy being challenged in a demanding role, offering great opportunity for the right candidate to demonstrate their stakeholder and change management skills
