Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
We are currently looking for a Principal Advisor to join our team to work on primary sector skills and workforce policy.
You will be an experienced thought-leader and will be required to provide expert advice and opinion on the capability and capacity of the primary sector workforce. You will have effective programme management skills and will work alongside other team members to assist industry skills groups to progress action plans to ensure the primary sector has the workforce it needs for the future. This will be interesting and varied work and you will engage with a wide variety of stakeholders.
You will provide support to policy staff through peer review, expert opinion advice and assistance with inter-agency and cross agency engagement. You will be collaborative in style and have the ability to approach people, build relationships and work through others to get to where you and the team need to quickly.
