About the role.
MBIE has an ambitious goal: to be world leading in all our regulatory systems. You will help to drive MBIE’s regulatory stewardship programme to reach this goal. You will be part of a small team which reports to MBIE’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) about regulatory system performance, and works with teams across MBIE to help make regulatory stewardship part of MBIE’s “DNA”- the way we do things.
The purpose of the Regulatory Stewardship Assurance team is to provide the SLT and external stakeholders with confidence that MBIE’s regulatory systems are robust and operating effectively. This is a new function, and you will be part of a new team developing high quality frameworks, systems and processes, and implementing these, in order to provide the assurance sought.
As you do so, you will work with a wide variety of senior leaders in policy, operational and service delivery roles across MBIE – giving you the opportunity to see what the whole organisation does.
This is a Principal Level role that could be a secondment, permanent or fixed term contract.
