About us | Ko wai mātou
At Waka Kotahi, the NZ Transport Agency, it all starts with our people. The organisation’s performance and success depend on the people who choose to make this a great place to work and make a difference for Aotearoa New Zealand. Waka Kotahi has a strong future focus, understanding that new technologies and changing customer expectations mean the transport system we know today will not be the one we deliver in the future.
The Safety, Health and Environment (SH&E) Group exists to improve the safety and environmental performance of Aotearoa New Zealand’s land transport system. The SH&E Group leads the development of system solutions and interventions to improve road safety, workplace health and safety and transport related environmental outcomes.
