About the RoleWith your strategic oversight, sharp analytical skills and strong understanding of project management in the government context you’ll drive and deliver workstreams and engagement for a large-scale project with multiple stakeholders and strong iwi engagement focus. You will coordinate all the various workstreams and develop project deliverables while providing senior operational leadership support to the team Manager.You’ll draw on your extensive experience in project management to role model best practice and play a key role in both strategy formulation and the development of our stakeholder relationships and communications management. As part of this you’ll provide mentoring and support for other team members, supporting capability development and productivity. With your energetic, innovative and customer-centric approach to your work, you’ll lead and contribute to key programmes priorities of work and work-streams. To ensure your success in this role, you’ll need:Proven experience managing significant projects with a focus on project implementation, engagement, and development of project management deliverables.Ability to translate complex technical matters into clear written and verbal advice.Proven experience in constructive stakeholder, including iwi, engagements.Strong understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
