We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Counsel to join Wellington City Council to lead a team providing legal advice on a broad range of matters.

As our Principal Counsel, you will lead the commercial and property legal team to provide solutions focused legal advice to guide Council in its commercial activities. You will bring your broad and in-depth experience from a commercial setting in a previous in-house legal role.
A key part of this role is to provide leadership to the legal team (commercial and property) so you will have experience in leading teams and be motivated to support, develop and get the most out of your people.
