About the role
We have a great opportunity for a Principal Advisor – Employment Relations, reporting to the Manager People & Workplace. In this pivotal role you will be responsible for the provision of high-level strategic and tactical advice, coaching and training in the areas of employment relations, change management, performance, wellbeing and HR policy. In addition to your day-to-day case work you will be responsible for leading collective bargaining, the annual performance review round and managing MBIE’s competency framework.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and experience in managing large projects from end-to-end. You will also be proactive, as this role has great scope for you to develop and run your own employment relations initiatives.
