The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
As Principal Rail Safety Officer (Civil) you will deliver effective regulatory management through monitoring the compliance of rail license holders and rail participants civil assets such as bridges, tunnels, permanent way and other civil infrastructure. As part of this busy and varied role you will carry out the full range of regulatory functions such as infrastructure analysis, reviewing license applications, providing advice and thought leadership on rail infrastructure technology and regulatory matters.
An important element to this role is stakeholder management, so your credible and confident interpersonal and relationship management skills will be the key to your success in this role.
