Technically, you’ll bring technical leadership across expert specialist Security advice, technical direction and consultancy to clients both internally and externally, providing In-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27k and PCI.As this is a critical client facing role you’ll need work collaboratively across the group engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders and take full responsibility for overall technical oversight of key programmes and projects. Some other key aspects of the role would include: Take full responsibility and delivery of critical tasks or projects such as Data Centre re-locations and transition to offered Security servicesResponsible for analysing, designing, scheduling, and constructing Security solutions which can meet demandsAppraise and report on new techniques and Security products, and make recommendations on the acquisition of advanced technologyWrite technical proposals, design documents and statements of workQA and/or peer review sign off for technical proposals, design documents and statements of work This role will likely suit someone with an in-depth understanding of business drivers for technology solutions – both fit for purpose customer solutions and a strong sense of good business acumen. The ability to communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences across all levels of business is essential.Technically, if you also have strong insights into the following it would be highly beneficial: Strong ability to communicate technical solutionsDesign thinking as opposed to break fix mentalityProven ability to diagnose and resolve difficult or complex problemsAbility to write reports, RFP responses, technical proposals, design documents (SAD, HLD, DD), and statements of workCloud security architecture experiencePreferably has experience working in a managed service provider organisation This role will be centrally based in the Wellington CBD.
