**About the position**

As global supply and demand for water increases, Jacobs delivers projects across the entire water cycle to solve our clients’ most complex water challenges with exceptional service and integrated, sustainable solutions. Market priorities range from global urbanisation, aging/failing infrastructure, safety & reliability of drinking water, climate change and resiliency to regulatory pressure.

Due to growth and increasing volumes of exciting project work our Auckland Water Section is recruiting for a Principal Water Engineer (PWE). The PWE will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of three-waters engineering projects. They will provide technical engineering input, engineering management, business development, project and commercial management and directorship and leadership to internal and external projects in the New Zealand business.

**About you**

To be considered for the role you would require significant experience in the planning, design and construction of three waters infrastructure. Key requirements would include:

+ Relevant tertiary qualifications

+ Maintains professional body accreditation (e.g. CPEng, PMP)

+ Well-developed communication and leadership skills

+ Business Development mindset and a commercial focus on project delivery
