About the Role: The purpose of the position is to develop and implement innovative and collaborative procurement strategies that ensure the lowest total cost of ownership whilst meeting operational requirements. About You: You will have a good level of experience in a procurement management role and will probably have a tertiary qualification with a Procurement Management-related endorsement and/or analytical/business/food qualification, but experience counts too. Procurement management experience in a fast-moving dynamic environment (preferably within a manufacturing environment). Highly developed negotiation skills and techniques, the ability to consistently find solutions to complex problems Sound understanding of contract law within a commercial environment. Highly developed leadership skills: the ability to lead, inspire and influence a diverse range of suppliers and stakeholders. Ability to understand complex issues with supporting analysis and to distil and focus on key issues Highly developed analytical skills and the ability to analyse cost of manufacture and product costing Ability to perform financial feasibility-analyses for the purposes of creating business cases and budgets Able to make critical and commercially astute decisions by evaluating options and then acting upon them knowing the likely consequences Ability to develop and maintain highly effective contacts, relationships, and networks with individuals and groups inside and outside the organisation. Highly developed written and oral communication skills Ability to be self-directed and motivated, demonstrating a proactive and innovative approach with a high level of initiative. Demonstrated ability to lead in a rapid changing, intense, and demanding environment Knowledge of “procurement to pay” systems Proven change management skills: ability to impact and influence An ability to respond quickly to demands, act independently, and work under pressure Strong interpersonal / relationship management skills Well organised and an experienced planner Apply Now!
