The Product Owner position reports to the Manager Systems & Performance within the Managed Isolation & Quarantine (MIQ) Group. 

This role is responsible for maximising the value of Managed Isolation Allocation System (MIAS) by creating and managing the product user stories and backlog.  You will look at areas for product development, and will lead the planning of product releases and ensure timely and quality delivery by our external vendor.

The role also oversees the case management systems used by MIQ teams (Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics).

The Product Owner will lead the MIAS delivery team which will include Business Analysts and Test Analysts and will work closely with external parties.

What we are looking for;

  • Previous experience in a Product Owner role is required
  • Senior experience in a business environment with responsibility for developing and managing high quality, multiple stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex issues in a way that engages the audience
  • Effectively and consistently identifies and manages risk
  • Proven ability to develop trust and credibility with managers and staff
