Our customers are primarily accountants and bookkeepers, though enabling them to help their business customers to grow subscriptions is also a consideration in some cases. You enable them to instrument their work so they immediately understand how their products are being used. You ensure product, design and engineering are considered side-by-side: They are all involved in product discovery. Your skill in modern product discovery practices enables the pod to understand and use many experimental techniques. You will make sure the boundaries of your products (what the pod owns and what they don’t) is articulated and understood inside and outside of the pod. With your pod you will build and support a compelling portfolio of products and services that your customers love to use. You will bring your customers and pod closer together and the pod will obsess over customers. They engage directly with them and get product ideas from observing customer struggles, and analysing customer data. You will build and maintain strong relationships with your stakeholders who are involved in product discovery activities; and all stakeholders are updated appropriately on product releases and roadmaps.
