The Investment Programmes Directorate are responsible for leading the development and implementation of a range of investment programmes that support economic growth, sustainable resource use, and productivity in the primary sector.


Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

As Programme Co-ordinator & Analyst you will provide support for processes, analysis, reporting, coordination and analytical support to the funds managed by the Investment Programmes directorate.

Within this role, your responsibilities would include:

  • Provide day-to- day co-ordination support to Investment Programmes’ funds, particularly environmental and climate change funds – get hands on with key issues the sector is facing.
  • Project coordination for strategic projects – get involved in key ministry-wide initiatives.
  • Secretariat support for monthly panel meetings – support senior decision-making processes.
  • Project coordination for programme evaluations – want to be able to see tangible outcomes of your work? This is your chance!

Skills and Experience

We are looking for the following skills and experience: 

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Provision of secretariat function
  • Experience in spreadsheet and data management
