Professional Development Group delivers learning and capability building initiatives across our front-line teams to help grow the professional quality and practice leadership capability throughout the organisation.

We have a great fixed-term opportunity in our Professional Development team for a highly organised and energetic Programme Coordinator. Reporting to the Manager Learning Delivery you will help support the delivery of learning solutions to our frontline staff all around New Zealand through developing initiatives, systems and processes.

About the role – Mō te tūnga:

• Look at programmes of work and see the bigger picture
• Contribute to key learning and development projects and initiatives in a coordinator’s capacity
• Assist with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Finance system administration by updating our systems, generating reports and providing information to key stakeholders
• Organise, prioritise, monitor and document all upcoming learning and training courses and their budgets
• Conduct clear detailed spreadsheets that all audiences can decipher
• Work closely and help support your colleagues in the Regional Learning Advisor team as well as the wider Professional Development team
• Be proactive in identifying and mitigating risk with sound solutions

• Demonstrated work experience as a Coordinator using an LMS system
• A customer driven solutions approach
• Confidence with scheduling, tracking and reporting
• Ability to use clear and professional written and verbal communication
• A sharp eye for detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to meet set deadlines while managing multiple prioritises
• Composure and resilience combined with a flexible can-do attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team, use your initiative and have a sense of humour
• Some knowledge/experience in Te Ao Māori and/or a willingness to learn
