The Service group is looking for an engaged and highly motivated leader to support the Change Team in Tamaki Makaurau.  This is a fixed term contract for 6-9 months as Project Coordinator.

 

File Management and Transcription [FM&T] and Non-Emergency are services that are an integral part of the Service group.  They deliver support to front line staff and victims, by supporting the delivery of services to districts, and assisting with the transition to a nationally consistent model. The service has been centrally managed since 1 October 2019, and we require experienced staff to support us during this early transition and relocation period.

 

It is our preference that the applicant will be available for an immediate start in this role. The FM&T and Non-Emergency centralisation and relocation activities are underway and we require early engagement and support to our teams during this period.

 

To be successful in this position you will have:

 

  • Worked in a project capacity before or have significant experience in a related field with strong organisational skills.  
  • Skills within Project Coordination, including the ability to plan, monitor and evaluate project effectiveness. Your ability to work collaboratively within a team and with our key stakeholders will be highly desired.  
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and are adept at balancing varying stakeholder needs whom you support and leverage for achieving your work deliverables.  
  • Great organisational skills with an ability to multitask and be adaptable as priorities change will be key in your support of multiple work streams and project groups.    
  • Strong planning, project management skills, Excel skills and are savvy with business analytics.

 

Duties will include:

 

  • Project status and financial reporting, and assisting with portfolio level reporting.  
  • Significant administrative component  including organising meetings, taking minutes, maintaining a backlog of tasks in the form of user stories, and other administrative support tasks.  
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams and logistics to meet project timelines  
  • You will be working in small tight knit team working on problem definition through to full project delivery.

  • The successful applicant must reside in Auckland

 

  • The successful applicant must undergo and pass reference checks and full vetting checks

 

  • The successful applicant must be a New Zealand or Australian citizen, or a New Zealand Permanent Resident.  
  • Transfer costs not included
