About the Role 

We are a dynamic, growing organisation and as a result we are moving – initially into larger temporary accommodation, then into our final new home at 8 Willis Street in 2021. 

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Project Manager to lead these key initiatives.  You will have overall responsibility for the delivery of the accommodation work programme and manage the end-to-end details of the project. This includes embedding a framework for the initial relocation that will achieve success for our final move. We also need someone to lead our thinking on our regional footprint. 

You will work closely and collaboratively with some great people from our IT, Organisational Development & Facilities teams, so you will need strong influencing skills to achieve results. 

This is a hands-on role and you will need to be willing to roll your sleeves up to get the job done.  Are you ready to accept the challenge?

Skills and Experience

Our ideal candidate will offer: 

  • demonstrated experience leading a complex property move
  • strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
  • exceptional organisational and planning skills to meet tight deadlines
  • strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • a solutions focus and the ability to put all the pieces of the puzzle together
  • a project management qualification such as PMP, CAPM, Prince 2
  • a sound understanding of the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015
  • an understanding and appreciation of Te Ao Maori.
