Due to exponential growth & ambitious forward build programme, we are expanding our Operations team and looking fora Project Manager with infrastructure or civil construction experience to join our dynamic team.As a part of Connexa, you will contribute to the growth and development of New Zealand's mobile tower infrastructure to support the rollouts of 5G and future mobile technologies. With over 2,350 mobile sites across the nation, Connexa plays a crucial role in enabling our customers, including Spark and 2degrees, to provide exceptional coverage and services to end users, unlocking New Zealand's digital potential.As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects across New Zealand in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including service providers, landlords and communities, to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and timeline constraints. This role offers an exciting opportunity for you to make your mark in a rapidly evolving segment of New Zealand's telecommunications industry.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage civil infrastructure projects, ensuring their timely and cost-effective completionCollaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, and timelineLiaise with external stakeholders, such as landlords and community members, to obtain necessary permissions and address any concernsConduct site assessments and surveys to assess the feasibility of proposed projectsManage contracts and negotiate with contractors to ensure high-quality workmanshipOversee the construction and installation of mobile towers, adhering to relevant safety regulations and industry standardsMonitor and control project budgets and expenditures to ensure financial objectives are metProvide regular project updates to the leadership team and stakeholders, highlighting any issues or risks that may impact project deliveryRequirementsStrong understanding of Project Planning and Risk AnalysisFinancial astuteness with strong commercial acumenProven experience as a Project Manager from within construction, infrastructure or similarFocus on continuous improvement & challenging the status quo to make greater efficienciesSound knowledge of civil engineering principles and practicesStrong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholdersProficient in project management software and toolsSolid understanding of health and safety regulations and their application in a construction environmentHigh level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and challenging environmentValid driver's license and willingness to travel as requiredBenefitsAlong with a competitive remuneration, you will receive medical insurance, health insurance & income protection along with a Marram Holiday scheme.
