About the team
The Service Design and Implementation team are responsible for driving continuous improvement and building the foundations of a learning culture across the various frontline arms of Ara Poutama Aotearoa. The team are working to deliver positive outcomes for Ara Poutama, the people in our care, and the wider community. Our role supports and is driven by Hōkai Rangi, our transformational organisational strategy which runs through to 2024.
About the role
Due to an expanding programme of work, we are looking for a highly experienced and enthusiastic Project Management Professional to be part of the Department’s Design and Implementation team on a permanent basis. The projects are often high profile and fast paced, working alongside our Justice and Social sector colleagues. You may have heard about our work on alcohol and other drug testing in the community or initiatives that improve the interactive online experience for prisoners.
We’re looking for someone who loves what they do, thrives on diverse and challenging projects and is passionate about making a difference for New Zealand.
