Hutt Valley District Health Board is looking for an experienced project manager to drive key projects across the organisation and wider Hutt Valley health system, which includes Hutt Hospital services, primary care and community-based services.  The organisation is committed to delivering new innovation and service initiatives that will make a positive difference to health care and the health of our population, and make the best use of limited resources.

You will be responsible for the planning and management of one or more innovation and service improvement projects.   

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, problem-solving, written communication and interpersonal skills, and work well in a complex environment with diverse stakeholders.  You will be someone who is able to build and support an effective team, and confidently facilitate discussions and resolution of issues. 

You will have experience in the New Zealand health sector and working within the complexity and challenges of this environment.  Project/management training is desirable but not essential.
