The Department of Conservation is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a policy, planning, or legal background. This role is to lead the implementation of the Department’s work programme on reclassifying stewardship land. That is, to ensure conservation lands are recognised for the different conservation values they contain, whether that be National Park, Conservation Park, or Reserves.This is a unique opportunity to run a cross-functional nationwide project and provide expert advice on policy implementation. He angitūtanga: About the RoleThe role requires the proven ability to run a large project and team, analytical thinking, people skills, and a head for accuracy. It also requires an understanding of Te Ao Māori.
