What you will doThis position manages and leads capital and operating funded projects (from $10,000 up to $5 million in value) at the base level. The role requires the use of project management methodologies and multi-stakeholder management to ensure that the projects support the delivery of NZDF outputs. You will be responsible for input into project development and planning, then once approval is given, ensuring that allocated operating funded projects are delivered to their successful conclusion.What we needWe are seeking a person who will bring some strong technical skills to this role. You may be working in the civil sector, architecture, electrical industry or mechanical engineering. This experience enables you to understand the context of the projects.In addition to this experience you will bring:A good understanding of contract management under NZS 3910;Strong relationship building experience as you will be managing multiple stakeholder expectations;Confidence and excellent communication skills as you will work across the many levels of our organisation.The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and requires a high level of organisational skills.You will be joining an awesome team who work well together and who understand innovation.
