The New Zealand Qualifications Authority is seeking a Qualifications Development Facilitator to join the Māori Qualifications Services (MQS) team within their Qualifications Services business unit.
MQS is responsible for the development, maintenance, review, and support of New Zealand qualifications and unit standards which are predicated on mātauranga Māori. It is also involved in the maintenance of University Entrance and the provision of policy and specialist advice on standards and qualifications.
The MQS Qualifications Development Facilitator role requires someone with a sound knowledge of te reo me ngā tikanga Māori, experience in the education and training sector, especially in facilitating change and delivering to customer expectations in a complex work environment, and a sound knowledge of assessment, qualifications, and the New Zealand Qualifications Framework.
The role requires the ability to quickly establish, build and maintain strong effective and collaborative working relationships, and establish credibility with specialist external advisors and a variety of stakeholders including government agencies, industry, education providers, whānau, hapū, iwi, and other customers.
