Are you someone who is passionate about maintaining recreation and historic assets and providing quality visitor experiences?  If yes, then this could be the job for you!

 

As a Ranger, Historic Heritage you will contribute to specific projects for visitors, including:

  • Assisting with contracts and monitoring the contractors work
  • Management of facilities, amenities and sites
  • Visitor information
  • Visitor hazard management systems
  • Construction and maintenance of sites and assets
  • Planning and interpretation of heritage experiences

 

The successful applicant will have:

  • A current First Aid certificate
  • A full Drivers Licence
  • Ability to interpret GIS information
  • A working knowledge and experience using computer databases and management information systems

 

Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including a valid work visa covering the whole period of employment if applying internationally.
