We have a vacancy in our Operations team based in Waitohi / Picton. We need an individual who is a proven effective team player, who has a strong technical skill base, holds health and safety in the highest regard, is great at communication and has a passion for looking after tracks and campsites and ensuring our visitors are kept safe while visiting this special part of the country. The job involves cleaning toilets; mowing grass; skippering various vessels; chainsaw use clearing trees and windfalls, cutting tracks using scrub bars; maintaining and servicing campsites and backcountry huts, supervising our superstar volunteers… and much more.
A bit about you
You will have a positivepersonality and enjoy working within a close-knit team. You will have practical field skills and be fit and strong enough to undertake a physical job in varied terrain. You will be confident interacting with people from all walks of life and have the ability to switch between tasks effortlessly.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including a valid work visa covering the whole period of employment if applying internationally.
