Ngā mōhiohio e pā hānga ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

In this newly established position you will support all aspects of the recruitment process for senior medical officers. You will work closely with our HR Business Partner, Service Managers and medical leaders across the DHB. From advertising to day one on the job you will be the go to person for the hiring manager and the candidates alike including supporting them through the medical council and immigration processes. You will proactively source and keep in touch with a pool of senior medical officers so when an opportunity arises you will know who to talk to. The role will be looking after positions in both Marlborough and Nelson and travel will be expected.

Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)

You will bring recruitment sourcing and co-ordination experience to the role. Experience of the health sector would be beneficial as well. You will be working with complex roles and processes so the ability to pick things up quickly will be important. You will need to be tenacious and able to influence to succeed in this role. Your day to day will involve interacting with your HR colleagues, service managers, candidates from a range of disciplines and backgrounds as well as our senior leaders and external stakeholders. This means your relationship building skills and your ability to work with people will come to the fore.
