The Workplace Integrity Group within the Ministry has recently undertaken a change process which has resulted in the establishment of these newly created roles.

The Regional Integrity Specialist supports Workplace Integrity (the Group) by ensuring regional management and staff have an awareness of the functions of the Group. The focus is on embedding good risk management and integrity practices in the region.  While you will be located in an MSD region you will carry out your duties across more than one region so regular travel will be required (a driver’s license is essential for the role). 

Key to the success of this position will be your ability to work seamlessly across business units and build influential relationships across all levels of management in the Group.
Through the effective management of professional relationships with members of the Organisational Assurance and Communication group, senior management and regional staff you will build rapport and foster co-operation and support for the Group’s strategies and programmes. 

The role is responsible for ensuring integrity is maintained within a region by providing risk management and integrity advice and influencing senior management to ensure they have best practice risk management and integrity practises in place that support business objectives to be met

 

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Ensuring that regional management and staff have an awareness of the functions of the Group. The focus is on embedding good risk management and integrity practices in the region.
  • Promoting and monitoring the policies that the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) relies on to manage its risks. You will also provide expert real time and ongoing advice to the regions and their senior management on the integrity of their business operations.
  • You will be located in an MSD region, where your principal duties will be carried out, however regularly travel between regions to provide services across other localities will be required.
  • Key to the success of this position will be your ability to work seamlessly across business units and build influential relationships across all levels of management in the Group.
