The Team: What we do
No two days are the same when you work with a diverse patient group with complex presenting conditions.
Ward 28 is a busy, acute ward caring for patients with neurological conditions including; brain tumours, head injuries, spinal tumours, movement disorders and seizures. As the largest inpatient neuroscience facility in the South Island it is a busy medical and surgical environment caring for a complex patient group with a diverse range of neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
Our large multi-disciplinary team are a skilled, passionate group of specialists focused on advancing care that will improve clinical outcomes for our patient group. We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our team who are passionate about patient centred care and who are keen to advance their nursing skills and knowledge. We have a great team who operate in a very collegial, inclusive environment with the MDT, which will serve to enhance your learning. Ward 28 is also a Dedicated Education unit and we have a Progressive Care unit which also provides an opportunity to expand your nursing and observation skills.
