The Community Housing Regulatory Authority (CHRA) is a specialist team that works within HUD’s System Performance Group, registering and regulating Community Housing Providers (CHPs). CHRA is a passionate team, dedicated to ensuring it has organisations of enduring substance on its Public Register capable of housing social housing tenants for the duration of their need.
About the role
Supporting the Lead Evaluator and Lead Compliance Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting with the evaluation of applications for registration and the ongoing annual monitoring of registered CHPs. This will include a high level of analysis of organisations documentation, governance, management, systems and structures against a set of prescribed Performance Standards. Tasks include handling enquiries, undertaking due diligence on directors and organisations, analysing organisational polices and processes, annual reports and supporting documentation as well as writing assessment reports. There will also be opportunities to contribute to internal and external reporting, ongoing operational policy development and wider HUD activities.
We are looking for a credible and detail focused individual with the capability to assess and evaluate an organisation from a risk assurance perspective. You will need to be confident communicator, have a strong eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex information within our regulatory framework.
