  • About The Role Role Location: 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008 or Wellington NZ Role Type: Fixed-term (approximately 12 months); Fulltime This is a great opportunity to join our Recognition & Benefits squad which provides specialised rewards expertise and support to ANZ’s businesses. As a newly formed squad, one of our key deliverables is to review and further embed ANZ’s recognition framework. As an experienced consultant in Recognition, you will play an important role in this activity and in developing and evolving key streams of work involving recognition. With your responsive and flexible mindset, you may also be involved in other streams of work involving employee benefits. You will look for opportunities to optimise recognition activities and improve the employee experience by devising and delivering innovative solutions. This will include planning and driving the marketing and communications plan for the program, as well as creating content. You will take a human centred approach, engaging with a broad range of employee groups and ensuring that their needs are represented in the design of solutions, while meeting any policy, tax or regulatory requirements. As a Remuneration Consultant (Employee Journey Expert) supporting Recognition, your role will provide consulting and relationship management services that support ANZ’s remuneration and reward strategy and you will be viewed as a subject matter expert in recognition. Your role may lead initiatives and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with business leaders, Talent & Culture business/country partners and employees in the delivery of our refreshed recognition framework. Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Reviewing, developing, and implementing the existing recognition framework and providing guidance and advice where needed
  • Playing an integral role in the design and management of the program, in particular the shift to a centralised technology solution
  • Promoting and educating others on the value of recognition and the framework
  • Establishing and delivering a communications strategy related to recognition
  • Develop key stakeholder relationships, particularly in the promotion of recognition related activities & in the shift to a centralised technology solution
  • Utilise research and other data points to develop insights into employee needs and behaviour
  • Being a passionate ambassador for recognition
  • About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in reviewing and implementing recognition frameworks at an enterprise level with a strong understanding of the value of recognition and how this fits into the broader performance and remuneration offering
  • Proven experience in a communications role to drive advocacy and awareness would be advantageous
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management experience with stakeholders (including Talent & Culture, business leaders, external vendors and with broad employee groups)
  • Proven project management and planning skills to lead initiatives, both within the Rem squad and at times more broadly across Talent & Culture
  • Ability to leverage available data to tell a story & develop insights into employee and business needs and behaviour, ensuring they are represented in the design of solutions
  • Knowledge of the regulations and laws impacting remuneration and benefits, with Employee benefits, financial industry, Success Factors and/or multi geography experience desirable (e.g. knowledge of benefits in other countries)
  • A passion and curiosity for the employee experience and demonstrated success in developing and executing innovative end-to-end HR solutions in a complex environment
