Opportunity to join the Hercules Repair team based in Whenuapai.

What you will do

Supporting the Repair Manager, you will coordinate the purchasing and repair of aircraft components through external vendors, monitoring performance and turnaround times.

On a daily basis you will:

  • Monitor external repairs by verifying that vendor has received item;
  • Attain regular status updates from vendors, notifying Component Control Manager (CCM) of any impact on due dates;
  • Liaise with vendors regarding overdue goods; 
  • Highlight potential risks and issues to Component Control Planner (Supply) CCP(S); 
  • Initiate repair and purchasing orders; 
  • Process finance requests from vendors, verify vendor repair invoices, warranty claims and purchasing reports; and
  • Liaise with Defence Logistics Engagement Office (DLEO) Washington for US based vendors as applicable.

What we need

We’re lookin for someone with a sound knowledge of supply chain management procedures and processes.
Ideally, you will have SAP experience, (or an equivalent computerised maintenance management system), be familiar with Outlook and Microsoft Office and enjoy engaging with people.
