About the Role


We are looking for a Risk and Assurance Regional Consultant to provide expert, technical, high quality advisory services about risk, internal control and governance matters such as business process implementation, risk identification and mitigation and governance at a regional level.


The focus will be on the provision of expert, real time and ongoing advice to the Regions and their senior managers about the effectiveness, efficiency and integrity of ongoing business operations, change management and business improvement programmes and initiatives.



Skills and Experience:


To be successful in this position you will have the ability to work seamlessly across business units and with all levels of management in order to provide independent expert advice and assistance on key areas of concern including risk, change management, internal controls and governance.


Our ideal candidate will have:


  • Demonstrable knowledge, understanding and experience in providing advisory services relating to risk, internal controls and governance, including business process design and implementation, programme and project management processes, etc.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the promotion and education of risk management practices at various levels of an organisation.
  • Understanding of the government and public sector environment, systems and processes and strategic issues facing government and the Ministry.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Organisational acumen and political savvy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship management and inter-personal skills.
