The role Design and contribute to the delivery of transportation and civil projects from investigation through to construction for private, local government and state sector clients Site investigations, and reporting on recommended solutions to roading and utilities problems Assist in business development in Taumarunui and provide support to other offices as required Construction and maintenance MSQA, monitoring and contract management including managing GHD project teams from other offices and sub-consultants as necessary. Prepare and evaluate contract claims Undertake site investigations for emergency works sites, develop funding applications, undertake design and site surveillance on a range of structural and non structural solutions Provide advice, solutions and project outcomes that create value for our clients, always ensuring client expectations for time, quality, cost, safety, and environmental measures are fulfilled Report writing and development of contract documentation About you Relevant tertiary qualification plus 5+ years’ experience in investigation, design and delivery of civil projects Contract management and surveillance experience Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Knowledge and understanding of industry design standards and guidelines Good computer skills and knowledge and understanding of Austroads, Waka Kotahi and industry standards and guidelines.
