You will have a relevant background working in safety health and wellbeing with a strong collaborative approach to your working style, including the ability to influence others to achieve positive safety health and wellbeing outcomes.

You have wide ranging technical knowledge, with a particular strength/speciality in one of the safety, health or wellbeing disciplines of the role. You are a problem solver who delivers practical solutions whilst being flexible and adaptable in adjusting your style to work effectively with different people. There can be times when the workload will be high so the ability to work well under pressure is a must.

We are looking for a professional with the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in workplace safety health and wellbeing or equivalent skills and experience
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and related regulations
  • Knowledge and understanding of the ACC accredited employer programme
  • Knowledge of RiskManager and Safe@Work programme
  • Experience in accident investigation utilising advanced investigation techniques (ICAM)
  • Ability to interact professionally, educate and influence with a diverse group of colleagues
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations and conducting meetings, workshops and training sessions
  • Experience in coordinating workplace psychological wellbeing programmes
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility for regional travel and work outside of normal business hours is a must
  • Current full driver’s licence
