Secretary for Southern Rivers Community Mental Health Team – Balclutha Office
About the role
Our progressive and dynamic Mental Health Service strives to achieve excellence in every facet of its service delivery and we have an opportunity for an experienced Secretary to join the team on a casual basis.
As a pivotal member of our team you will be a quick thinker who will be able to deliver effective, confidential and professional support to our staff, providing robust secretarial, clerical and reception services.
Your responsibilities will be varied and cover reception and office administration duties including but not limited to; liaising with consumers and whanau, data entry and maintenance; keeping records and files up to date, co-ordinate meetings and clinics, assisting clinicians where necessary, coordinating office operations, transcriptions, appointment booking and typing etc.
Experience in a busy office and a high level of computer competency, organisational and communication skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines and initiative is, therefore, necessary.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a pro-active attitude to your work, have great attention to detail, be well organised and have excellent time management skills.
A friendly manner alongside outstanding customer service is a key requirement of this role.

The hourly rate for this position is between $20.89 and $23.82 will be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
