The Parliamentary Security Group has recently undergone a significant review and change management programme, and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced trainer with quality assurance standards experience to fill this newly created position.
The Security Lead – Training & Quality Assurance plays an integral role within the Security Group, who are collectively responsible for providing 24 hours per day, seven days per week security services to members of Parliament, staff, contractors, stakeholders, visitors, and customers who work within and visit New Zealand’s Parliament. This includes providing security services at the Electorate & Community Offices which are located throughout New Zealand.
Reporting to the Security Manager – Operations, this role will identify gaps in capability and ensure that staff are given the correct resources and training to improve quality and efficiency. Among other responsibilities, you will develop and implement training documentation and programmes and constantly review practice and procedure – this will be a very hands-on role. You’ll work collaboratively with your team to continually improve and refine the direction of your business group.
