Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
The Senior Adviser, Business Cases & Governance a senior member of the PQC team and will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business. You will collaborate with the country teams assist them to develop business cases which provide evidence base for intervention required, appraisal for possible delivery and activity options and roadmap for financial and commercial management.
You will provide thought leadership and expertise ensuring that PDG business casing and governance processes remain robust and fit for purpose, aligned with the strategic drivers of the International Development Cooperation Programme, and delivers to our legislative obligations.

We’re looking for a Senior Adviser who is personable and committed to building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels.
You’ll be able to quickly grasp, understand and translate complex data and information for business users. You’ll also have strong business, commercial, and financial acumen and be able to adapt to changing or ambiguous environments. You will be pragmatic and able to provide valued advice and guidance to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to ensure high quality business case development and robust governance decision making across the PDG.
As an individual you will bring at least 10 years relevant experience and able to provide credible advice across the business to leadership level. You will have:
