We’re looking for a Senior Adviser to join our busy Capital Markets Disclosure (Financial Reporting) team. If you’ve got your finger on the pulse of New Zealand’s financial markets, this is for you.
You will be responsible for monitoring compliance with applicable accounting standards and financial reporting legislation and requirements for reporting entities. You will need to regularly engage with market participants on financial reporting matters and ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements with the ultimate aim of ensuring that investors have access to the information they need to make informed decisions. You will also need to collaborate on financial reporting matters with the wider FMA as well as its external stakeholders. This role will also see you involved in the drafting of guidance so that market participants have clear and well-understood responsibilities.
