About the team
The Integrated Quality Improvement team sits within Corrections Services and are responsible for driving continuous improvement and building the foundations of a learning culture across the various frontline arms of Ara Poutama. The team are working to deliver positive outcomes for Ara Poutama, the people in our care, and the wider community. Our role supports all aspects of the Corrections system, driven by Hōkai Rangi, our transformational organisational strategy which runs through to 2024.
Ideally you will already be performing in a Senior Quality Improvement role within another Government agency focussing on improvement of people-based systems, or, come with experience in a similar role within Corrections.
Success will come from your ability to provide advice, guidance and support regarding achievement of best-practice service quality, operational practices, processes, and standards and assist with the development, implementation promotion and ongoing review of a national framework to define service and practice quality effectiveness and continuous improvement.
You can demonstrate a high level of credibility and collaboration, being innovative and creative and continuously building and maintaining long lasting relationships. You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate cultural competence and be extremely personable and approachable.
Working in a dynamic team with a highly proactive, supportive and consultative Manager you will provide expert advice and support to the wider business, supporting the organisation to fully embrace and evolve integrated quality improvement.
