Due to an internal promotion we are looking for a Senior Adviser or an Adviser to join our busy Capital Markets Offer Disclosure team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with and regulate entities that issue financial products. If you’ve got your finger on the pulse of New Zealand’s financial markets, this is for you.
You’ll be involved in providing expertise and advice as part of the Offer Disclosure team and manage the review of disclosure information for issuers primary and ongoing disclosure relating to offers of managed funds (including KiwiSaver), debt (including listed bonds and non-bank deposit takers), equity (including IPOs as well as unlisted), and derivatives. You’ll engage directly with market participants and their advisers to review and provide feedback on disclosure and ensure that investors have access to the information they need to make informed decisions. You’ll also be involved in the drafting of guidance so that market participants have clear and well-understood responsibilities, completing market reviews, progressing misconduct cases including making recommendations on regulatory approach and providing subject matter expertise within the FMA.
