We are looking for Senior Advisors to come on board within the Government Services Group.


To be successful you will need to:

  • Contribute to work in the Government Services Group
  • Be comfortable working in a reactive, fast-paced environment, exercising sound judgement


There is a lot of exciting work happening within the Government Services Group to support the Minister of Health and Associate Ministers of Health carry out their Machinery of Government / democratic functions.


In the Government Services Group we have 3 teams. Each team is seeking experienced Senior Advisors to join us in either the:

  • OIA Services team who run the Ministry’s process end to end for responding to requests for official information, or the
  • Government Services and Coordination team who support the timely production of responses to oral and written parliamentary questions and materials for select committee, or the
  • Ministerial Correspondence team who write Ministerial responses for Ministers and draft correspondence for Deputy Director-Generals.


As a Senior Advisor you will be responsible for:

  • Providing oversight, direction and leadership of key projects
  • Guiding and mentoring other team members
  • Providing consistent high quality advice and support to teams in the the Ministry of Health.
