We are looking for two Senior Business Analysts to join the Business Solutions team at Ara Poutama Aotearoa.   These are critical business facing roles where you have the opportunity to work across multiple teams and engage with stakeholders across all levels, immersing yourself within a culturally diverse organisation and quickly establishing in-depth understanding of our core offender-centric systems.

Acting as a trusted advisor, your strong technical capability and natural curiosity will see you lead effective facilitation – you have a knack for asking the right questions in order to elicit and drive the need for strategic business changes.  Working closely with Technology delivery staff, you’ll also contribute to the review, prioritisation and implementation of functional technology changes, ensuring rigorous testing is undertaken and that any implemented changes accurately reflect agreed business requirements.

We want to hear from seasoned analysts with demonstrable knowledge and experience in business solutions design/software development, data analysis, process modelling and business needs documentation carried out as part of large and complex technology work initiatives. You possess high-level critical thinking, communication and facilitation skills that drive your ability to effectively elicit, analyse, evaluate and assess information.  You also demonstrate strong organisation skills – effective planning, prioritising, multi-tasking and meeting deadlines are a must.  Finally, your capability and motivation in providing mentoring and guidance to more junior colleagues to enhance their development will round off your profile.
