We are looking for a Senior Business Analysts to join our team.  Our ideal candidate will be strong conceptual thinkers, balanced with a pragmatic approach to problem solving and implementation.  They will have excellent communication and relationship management skills, and a high drive for results.  You have a talent to foster collaborative engagement across any level of the organisation, being a key influencer for the uptake for change and new ways of working.

 

We are keen to tap into some advanced Business Analysis skillsets including:

  • Being an able practitioner in process management techniques such as Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen;
  • Successful influencing skills with both frontline managers and senior managers to adopt best practice for process and performance management approaches;
  • Facilitating the development of quality systems, continuous improvement programs and innovation that have a strong link to strategic business outcomes with measurable results;
  • Providing mentoring and guidance to peers on continuous improvement techniques.   

 

This role reports to a Team Manager within the Operational Planning & Development Group of Biosecurity New Zealand.  Our focus is on developing, maintaining and improving the business process and systems that support operational delivery. Working closely alongside our frontline teams to design related services, products and systems.

In this role you will be expected to provide advice and support to decision makers across Biosecurity New Zealand.

Salary range for this role is $91,000 to $107,000 depending on skills and experience.
