Senior Communications Advisor, Family Violence and Sexual Violence 6 months fixed term

The Ministry of Justice is seeking a Senior Communications Advisor who’ll play a key role in reviewing, testing and updating our digital content and publications to ensure they meet the needs of people affected by family violence and sexual violence.
This is a six-month fixed term contract, based in our National Office in Wellington.
As well as operating the court system, our Ministry is involved in a wide range of initiatives to reduce crime, keep people safe and improve justice services.
We provide information to all New Zealanders via our web sites, social media channels and printed publications. So, we need:
A large focus of the role is on reviewing our current content in partnership with relevant audiences, to assess any gaps or opportunities for improvement. You’ll also help identify the potential for information to be presented in innovative ways so that different population groups get the right information at the right time, in the form they want and via the channels they use, both online and offline.
This project forms part of wider work the Ministry is doing in partnership with other government agencies and communities to implement new legislation, and better meet the needs of New Zealanders affected by violence.
