The Senior Communications Advisor contributes to the operations of the New Zealand Business Number (NZBN) Communications and Marketing team and will be required to work closely with other teams that are working on NZBN-related initiatives, such as e-Invoicing (www.nzbn.govt.nz/einvoicing).
This is an exciting time to be joining the NZBN team, with extensive work being undertaken that will fundamentally transform the way Kiwi businesses interact and transact with each other.
This role will work across all facets of communications and marketing, from content creation through to campaign development and execution. The role is varied, with a range of interesting and challenging work planned over the next few months.

You’ll be part of a small but enthusiastic team working collaboratively to deliver a visible marketing and communications strategy that’s crucial to the success of the NZBN and e-Invoicing initiatives. At the end of the fixed term role, you’ll have delivered meaningful work that will have a lasting impact on the way Kiwis do business in New Zealand and around the world.

About the NZBN
The NZBN is a globally unique identifier, available to all Kiwi businesses, including companies, government agencies and sole traders. The NZBN is issued by MBIE and it links to the information businesses are most often asked to share, like a trading name and phone number. By making it faster and easier to share these details, the NZBN will help reduce the time and energy businesses spend providing the same information in multiple times in different ways. The NZBN enables innovations and new digital services designed to save businesses time and money, both when dealing with government and when working with other businesses.
