We are seeking capable ambitious people to join our Data and Analytics

Working in **Auckland** with our high-profile clients
across both the public and private sectors, as a Data Analytics Senior Consultant
you’ll will work as part of a broader DnA, Advisory and EY teams develop your
skills and to contribute to meaningful change for New Zealand and New
Zealanders. We seek hard working, experienced and technically capable
data professionals who are team players and who have ambition for themselves
and the teams and clients they work with.
We are seeking people with experience of large and complex data
engineering, migrations and a good handle on core analytics and emerging
technologies for this domain. Successful
candidates will be client and service centric, will be experienced problem
solvers and team leaders and ideally will have experience succeeding when
facing significant delivery challenges or issues in the past.

**Your key responsibilities:**
+ Work closely with senior stakeholders (both internal and external) tounderstand their business requirements to identify their challenges with datathat can be addressed using various Analysis techniques
+ Actively participate and lead sales pursuits and business developmentopportunities for wider data and analytics projects
+ Be able to clearly explain data and analytics strengths and weaknessesto both technical and senior business stakeholders
+ Develop and maintain strong effective working relationships with keymanagement personnel and internal client base including data engineers, BA’sand directly with the services/businesses
+ Be a part of a culture that focuses on delivering excellence for ourclients and work with an awesome team of people to work with and access tocutting edge technologies.
+ Present data in graphs, charts, tables, etc. and designing anddeveloping relational databases for collecting data.
+ Keep a track of trends, patterns and correlation in case of complex datasets.
+ Be involved in all aspects of the Project life-cycle, includingStrategy, Road-Mapping, Architecture and Implementation in order to gainmaximum exposure to set you up for a successful consulting career.
**Skills and attributes for success**
+ Previousexperience working on large data engineering and migration programmes.
+ Previousexperience leading, developing and supporting other team members
+ Previousexperience working with data, data environments, databases, large datasets possibly in a consulting environment
+ Strongproblem solver, someone comfortable to challenge the status quo
+ Astrong background in coding with possible experience with R, Matlab, SAS,SQL or Python.
+ Analyticalmind set / someone that challenges assumptions
+ Projectdelivery toolset experience in one or more batch ETL tools (such asInformatica, Microsoft SSIS or Talend) OR open source data integrationtools (such as Kafka or Nifi)
+ Knowledgeand experience in end-to-end project delivery, either traditional SDLC oragile delivery methodologies (or hybrid approaches)
+ Exceptionalcommunication, documentation and presentation skills
+ Demonstratedresilience and adaptability
**Ideally, you’ll also have**
+ Experiencein engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
+ Strongconsulting experience and background, including engaging directly withclients
